The selectope for games with partial cooperation

چکیده
In this paper we de2ne and study some solution concepts for games in which there does not have to be total cooperation between the players. In particular, we show the relations of these solution concepts with the selectope. In this way, we extend the work of Derks, Haller and Peters, METEOR Research Memorandum, Maastricht, RM=97=016 (revised version, 1998). c © 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.

Distributing dividends in games with ordered players
A situation in which a finite set of players can obtain certain payoffs by cooperation can be described by a cooperative game with transferable utility, or simply a TU-game. A solution for TU-games assigns a set of payoff vectors to every TU-game. Some solutions that are based on distributing dividends are the Shapley value (being the single-valued solution distributing the dividends equally am...
متن کاملThe selectope for cooperative games
The selectope of a cooperative transferable utility game is the convex hull of the payo ̈ vectors obtained by assigning the Harsanyi dividends of the coalitions to members determined by so-called selectors. The selectope is studied from a set-theoretic point of view, as superset of the core and of the Weber set; and from a value-theoretic point of view, as containing weighted Shapley values, ran...
متن کاملDynamic system of strategic games
Maybe an event can't be modeled completely through one game but there is more chance with several games. With emphasis on players' rationality, we present new properties of strategic games, which result in production of other games. Here, a new attitude to modeling will be presented in game theory as dynamic system of strategic games and its some applications such as analysis of the clash betwe...

متن کاملA Closed-Form Formula for the Fair Allocation of Gains in Cooperative N-Person Games
Abstract This paper provides a closed-form optimal solution to the multi-objective model of the fair allocation of gains obtained by cooperation among all players. The optimality of the proposed solution is first proved. Then, the properties of the proposed solution are investigated. At the end, a numerical example in inventory control environment is given to demonstrate the application and t...
